Frequently Asked Questions
What is the 16L KDF Activated Charcoal Aimex Water Filter Dispenser?
It's a 16-litre benchtop water dispenser that uses KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) media combined with activated charcoal across an 8-stage filtration process. It removes chlorine, heavy metals, sediment and bad odours from tap water without needing plumbing, making it suitable for Australian homes, offices and share houses.
How does the Aimex 8-stage water filter dispenser work?
Tap or bottled water is poured into the top chamber, where it passes through 8 filtration stages including KDF, activated carbon, ceramic balls and mineral stones. This reduces chlorine, bacteria, heavy metals and impurities while retaining beneficial minerals, dispensing filtered water via a tap into the lower chamber for drinking.
Is the Aimex 16L water filter dispenser worth buying in Australia?
Yes, for households wanting a cost-effective alternative to bottled water. It requires no plumbing, works with any water source, includes 3 filters for extended use, and suits Australian conditions where tap water quality varies by region.
